Castor Oil Drops
Using castor oil drops as a therapeutic for the body is an idea actually borrowed from India. In a study completed by Donna Pallo of our research department, the records of 21 patients who were treated with the drops (five drops on the tongue each morning followed by half a glass of water) were examined. Several interesting conclusions were arrived at. First, allergic conditions of the upper respiratory tract were considered the most reasonable conditions to treat with castor oil drops. Second, skin diseases, constipation, and digestive problems were less common but still considered treatable.
What goes through a doctor’s mind to bring him to a simple suggestion as this when a hay fever patient comes to him with watery eyes? Perhaps the wide experience we have had here at the Clinic with castor oil packs or the cleansing of the cells in a homeopathic manner gives him a rationale. Or it may be the “vibratory” effect of the castor oil. We can’t seem to come up with a real good reason, but the effect certainly is real.
From this study (which was not a “clean” one since some of the patients underwent several therapies), three of the 21 patients experienced a complete clearing up of their problems, eight had what they termed “good” results, five had “some improvement,” and in only one was no result seen. The therapy treatment usually lasted over a period of two to three months.
