Day 1 – October 26
Begin your Egyptian adventure! Depart from JFK Airport to Cairo on board Egypt Air.
Day 2 – October 27
Arrive in Cairo at 6:00 am. Transfer to the Four Seasons First Residence. Check in and enjoy breakfast. Take time to rest and enjoy the amenities of the hotel. Welcome dinner and group meeting to set our intentions for this remarkable journey.

Day 3 – October 28
Immerse yourself in ancient treasures at the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)! Lunch on your own at the museum, which features a wide array of dining options with around ten restaurants and cafes available on-site. Later, after resting up, enjoy a wonderful dinner at Mohammed’s family home.

Day 4 – October 29
Step back in time at the majestic Giza Plateau! Marvel at the three Great Pyramids, uncover the hidden Queen’s Pyramids, and explore the Isis Temple. Stand in awe before the mysterious Sphinx and enjoy a camel ride across the plateau. In the afternoon, visit a family-owned oil shop. Experience an exclusive private group visit inside the Great Pyramid, followed by a wonderful dinner at the hotel to end your day filled with awe and wonder.

Day 5 – October 30
Check out of the hotel and journey to sacred Sakkara! Explore the mystical Serapeum, discover Mere Ruka’s tomb with its beautifully painted walls, and experience Teti’s Pyramid with its ancient text and starry ceiling. Visit a carpet factory. Fly to Luxor in the evening and transfer to Sonesta St. George Luxor Hotel on the bank of the Nile.

Day 6 – October 31
Stand in awe at Karnak, the world’s largest temple complex! As part of our journey, we’ll stop by a jewelry shop and a papyrus shop, allowing you to appreciate and perhaps take home a piece of this rich culture. As night falls, visit the Luxor temple, which is truly breathtaking illuminated with all the lights.

Day 7 – November 1
Venture to the powerful spiritual centers of Abydos, the ancient pilgrimage site of Osiris, and the beautifully preserved temple of Dendara, dedicated to the goddess Hathor. The temple is known for its detailed astronomical ceiling and stunning artwork.

Day 8 – November 2
Check out of the Luxor hotel and venture into the incredible Valley of the Kings! Explore the stunning tomb of Ramses VI, marvel at the magnificent temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and admire the towering ancient Memnon Colossi. Visit an alabaster factory and witness the exquisite craftsmanship. Then board the luxurious Mövenpick Royal Lily Nile cruise ship, your floating hotel for the next four nights.

Day 9 – November 3

Day 10 – November 4
Discover the perfectly preserved Edfu Temple and the unique “duality” temple at Kom Ombo. Evening highlight: Celebrate with a festive GALABIYAH party by wearing a traditional Egyptian gown under the stars! (The Galabiyah is optional and available for purchase on the boat.)

Day 11 – November 5
The adventure continues as we arrive in the vibrant city of Aswan! Embark on a scenic drive across the stunning Nubian Desert to the magnificent Abu Simbel. After savoring lunch in Abu Simbel, tour the temples and discover the sheer grandeur and fascinating history behind these magnificent structures. End the day with a trip to the Aswan Market!

Day 12 – November 6
Check out and explore Aswan. Visit the Philae temple and the unfinished obelisk before flying back to Cairo. Check into Le Meridien Cairo Airport hotel and enjoy a free evening.

Day 13 – November 7
For our last day together, journey through the Fustat area of Old Cairo, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali (aka Alabaster Mosque), Ben Ezra Synagogue, Zeitoun Church of Apparition, the Hanging Church, and St. Sergius Church. A wonderful way to experience the rich cultural and religious heritage of the area.

Day 14 – November 8
Bid farewell to magical Egypt as you depart for the USA, carrying memories and spiritual insights that will last a lifetime. Transfer to Cairo airport to board Egypt Air.

Physical Requirements
This tour is moderately physically demanding. The itinerary involves extensive walking and stairs, often on uneven terrain, ancient stone floors, and sand. Some areas are not easily accessible for those with limited mobility. The trip is manageable for most active adults, but should not be underestimated. It is highly recommended to follow a walking and fitness training regimen before departure to ensure you can fully enjoy every historical site without physical discomfort.
