Jessica Newell studied History at the University of Evansville. She has worked for a museum and as a historical interpreter with Tennessee State Parks, but decided to become an archivist after a rewarding internship working with 19th century court documents at a county clerk’s office. She received a Master’s in Archival Studies from East Tennessee State University in 2018. Her position as the archivist for E.C.F. combines her love of historical preservation and public history education.
