Alison Mills-Long is an International Sound Therapy Association Certified Therapeutic Sound Practitioner, formally trained in music since childhood and culminating with a B.A. in Music from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. A life-long love of music and sound, combined with a passion for helping others, led to training in complimentary healing modalities. Alison is a Reiki Master/Teacher, Life Coach, Transpersonal Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner, and ordained minister. She combines her many modalities, including guided meditations and dream analysis, to create unique experiences for each client. As a volunteer in the medical and hospice environment for over 17 years, and project manager in the corporate environment for over 30 years, she relates intuitively and empathically to her clients' life experiences ranging from stress, grief, and anger to life direction and greater self-awareness. Years of teaching and presenting for numerous corporate, medical, and civic organizations in her areas of expertise, in addition to her work with music and sound, inspired a project to create a self-help tool in order to assist more people. The result is her 2-disc debut CD, "Ananda" which includes instrumental tracks for general purposes and guided meditations for forgiveness, tolerance, and courage. Her music is currently being used in a nationally ranked destination spa and in her personal work with cancer patients and autistic clients with positive results.
