Dreams
To work with dreams, Cayce advised developing the ability to recall them. One method is to ask for a specific dream before bed, such as seeking guidance on a job decision or a relationship issue. Keeping a journal by the bed is crucial for recording dreams immediately upon waking to prevent forgetting them. Noting key symbols, such as animals, objects, or people, helps identify recurring themes, while recording the emotional tone of the dream can reveal the soul’s perspective on a situation.
Cayce also emphasized that the dreamer is the best interpreter of their own dreams, as they have the most intimate knowledge of their personal experiences. However, many dreams use universal symbols with common meanings, like lions representing power or water symbolizing emotions. Over time, the dreamer can learn to understand the personal significance of these symbols. A dream journal can be expanded into a personalized dictionary, allowing the dreamer to track and interpret symbols based on their unique experiences.
By exploring our dreams, we can tap into our subconscious mind and uncover answers that have always been within us, waiting to be discovered.
