Job Overview:

Responsible for supporting, strengthening, and expanding Edgar Cayce–aligned affiliate and field groups across the United States. This role focuses heavily on communication, relationship-building, and marketing outreach. The Coordinator will develop and execute strategies to enhance engagement, grow membership, provide resources to local groups, and help foster connections with like‑minded organizations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, skilled in marketing and social media, and capable of managing multiple ongoing projects while cultivating strong one‑on‑one relationships with volunteer leaders nationwide.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Support and strengthen Edgar Cayce affiliate and field groups throughout the United States.
  • Assess the status, needs, and growth potential of local organizations and develop individualized strategic plans.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials, including flyers, email templates, newsletters, and promotional assets.
  • Manage and execute social media posts, ads, and engagement strategies for both local and national audiences.
  • Coordinate email communications and maintain consistent branding across platforms.
  • Support volunteer leaders through one‑on‑one communication, virtual meetings, and resource sharing.
  • Research like‑minded organizations in local regions and support partnerships or outreach efforts.
  • Track project progress, campaign effectiveness, and group engagement metrics.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organization and follow‑through.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, community engagement, volunteer coordination, social media management, or related roles.
  • Experience working with community organizations or mission-driven groups preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong command of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and experience creating posts, running ads, and driving engagement.
  • Excellent writing skills for emails, marketing copy, and social content.
  • Ability to design basic marketing materials such as flyers, graphics, and promotional posts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work one‑on‑one with diverse individuals across the country.
  • Ability to analyze group needs and develop actionable growth strategies.
  • Research skills for identifying potential community partnerships and like‑minded organizations.
  • Comfortable working independently and making recommendations.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Adestra, Constant Contact) is a plus.
  • Interest in or knowledge of Edgar Cayce’s work and spiritual/personal growth communities preferred.

Special Job or Training Demands:

  • Willingness to learn organizational history, mission, and key content related to the Edgar Cayce work.
  • May require occasional travel to field group events or regional gatherings (if applicable).
  • Must be able to adapt to evolving tools, outreach platforms, and community needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical activities on a daily basis, such as but not limited to walking, standing, climbing, bending, lifting items (up to 20 lbs. unassisted) is required.
  • Ability to move between buildings on uneven ground and to use staircases in historical buildings without elevators.
  • Requires sitting and using a keyboard and looking at a screen
