Job Overview:
The Digital Content and Engagement Creator is responsible for developing compelling digital media that expands the reach, visibility, and impact of Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. This role focuses on creating original content, curating material from the Cayce archives, and designing engagement‑driven posts across social and digital platforms. A central responsibility of the position is managing, growing, and monetizing the Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. YouTube Channel, including content planning, editing, publication, and performance analysis.
Through thoughtful storytelling and strategic digital engagement, this position supports the organization’s mission to push the boundaries of conventional thinking and introduce audiences to transformative ideas, insights, and practices. The Digital Content and Engagement Creator plays a key role in increasing brand awareness, boosting participation in programs and events, and fostering an engaged and expanding online community. Knowledge of Edgar Cayce material is strongly preferred to ensure content aligns with the spirit and legacy of the work.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Create engaging digital content across multiple platforms to increase awareness, participation, and connection with Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. community.
- Develop, maintain, and grow the Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. YouTube Channel, including strategy, content planning, scheduling, analytics, and monetization oversight.
- Produce new YouTube video content based on the Cayce material and curated from archival lectures, audio, video, and historical files.
- Edit, enhance, and repurpose archival content into modern, compelling formats for digital audiences.
- Create social media content designed to encourage engagement, increase followers, promote memberships, and boost participation in A.R.E. events and activities.
- Implement content strategies that expand brand awareness and support the mission of bringing people new insights, information, and practices that enrich their lives.
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to support messaging, campaigns, and community-building initiatives.
- Monitor digital trends and platform changes to ensure content remains relevant, optimized, and aligned with best practices.
- Track analytics and engagement metrics to evaluate performance and guide future content direction.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Film/Video Production, or a related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, or multimedia production.
- Experience creating and editing video content for YouTube or similar platforms.
- Experience managing social media channels and developing engagement‑driven content.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Strong proficiency in digital content creation tools (video editing software, graphic design tools, social media schedulers, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging short‑form and long‑form video content, including scripting, editing, and publishing.
- Understanding of YouTube channel management, optimization, analytics, monetization, and growth strategies.
- Excellent writing skills for crafting posts, descriptions, scripts, and engagement prompts.
- Strong understanding of social media engagement strategies and best practices across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Ability to produce content that reflects and supports the mission, tone, and values of the organization.
- Creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to propose new ideas for content or digital initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple digital projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Edgar Cayce material strongly preferred.
Special Job or Training Demands:
- May require occasional evenings or weekends to support live events, content capture, or posting schedules aligned with digital trends.
- Must stay current with evolving digital media trends, YouTube algorithm updates, and platform tools.
- Training in the history, mission, and philosophy of Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. will be required after hiring.
- May require coordination with archival teams to access, digitize, and repurpose historical content.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical activities on a daily basis, such as but not limited to walking, standing, climbing, bending, lifting items (up to 20 lbs. unassisted) is required.
- Ability to move between buildings on uneven ground and to use staircases in historical buildings without elevators.
- Requires sitting and using a keyboard and looking at a screen.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during video editing or content creation sessions.
