Travel – Edgar Cayce’s 150th Birthday
Welcome to an extraordinary six-day journey of learning and fellowship starting in Nashville, Tennessee. The heart of the tour takes you into the life of Edgar Cayce with excursions to Kentucky. In Hopkinsville, you will visit foundational sites from Cayce’s life, engage with local historians at Beverly Academy, and celebrate his 150th legacy during a festive Dinner Theater. You will also explore historic Bowling Green, enjoying a walking tour of Fountain Square and a guided look inside the grand Riverview at Hobson Grove mansion.
The journey culminates back in Hopkinsville for the annual Cayce Days. Kicked off by an inspiring lecture from Cayce’s great-granddaughter, Corinne Cayce, this open-format day is entirely dedicated to your personal journey. You are free to customize your experience by walking a meditative labyrinth, viewing rare muse-um artifacts, or touring his childhood schoolhouse before the tour concludes.
Nashville, Tennessee, widely known as “Music City,” is the perfect place to base the tour in. As it serves as a global epicenter for the music industry—particularly country music. Decades before modern science recognized sound therapy or music psychology, Cayce’s psychic readings emphasized that the hu-man body is a complex field of vibrating particles. He taught that disease is essentially a disruption in these natural frequencies, and that harmonious music could act as a therapeutic agent to restore balance.
