We will compare the Cayce readings on transformation with similar inner work practices such as:
- Lao Tzu’s classic guide to excellence, “The Tao Te Ching”
- The Gurdjieff/Ouspensky “line upon line” work on self-observation
- Thomas à Kempis’ treatise on structuring one’s life, thoughts, and actions based on the example of the Christ
- Native American & Quaker strategies for simplicity and peace
We’ll practice specially designed exercises to bring us to a new awareness about ourselves and as we remove what does not belong from our mental, spiritual and physical selves.
We’ll discover the hidden treasure of our own pure essence waiting quietly to be awakened by our will and the Divine within. We’ll experience a Cayce reading, given for ourselves, and the union found in the dance of the whirling dervishes.
