Cottonwood Stone

Inspired from an early age by hearing John Denver sing “Sunshine on My Shoulders,” Cottonwood Stone has spent more than 30 years immersed in the acoustic music world as a performer. With gentle fingerpicking and a clear, clean voice, she weaves together positive, uplifting themes of connection, community, nature, and love. Her easy-on-the-ear songs create a welcoming space where listeners can relax, smile, and feel connected. Her original music lands somewhere between the heartfelt warmth of John Denver and the thoughtful spirit of the Indigo Girls … where the atmosphere of a cozy coffee shop meets the glow of a campfire. A Virginia Beach native, Cottonwood Stone has shared her music and educational programs with audiences across the country, continuing her lifelong passion for bringing people together through meaningful acoustic songs. Cottonwood is currently a volunteer at the A.R.E., and her dream is to bring a high vibrational music song circle to this area.
