Amy Walton is an RYT200 with Yoga Alliance and holds certifications in trauma-sensitive yoga, yin, healing touch, and yoga for disordered eating. She is currently pursuing her RYT300 certification. With a professional background in education, publishing, and nonprofit development, Amy now focuses on guiding others through grief coaching, work-life balance seminars, and yoga instruction. Her classes emphasize breathwork, body awareness, and honoring personal limits, guided by her mantra: “Honor Your Body, and Don’t Take It Where It Doesn’t Want to Go!” Amy is passionate about the power of breath and begins each class with mindful breathing techniques to center and energize her students. Off the mat, this widowed mother of two adult sons and proud “Gigi” of three granddaughters enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling—always seeking connection, balance, and joy in life.
