History

The Institute is a natural outgrowth of A.R.E.'s seventy years of experience in helping individuals develop their intuitive abilities in conjunction with helping people with their spiritual development. The incentive comes from Edgar Cayce's own statements that all people have intuitive abilities they can develop in this lifetime. He emphasized that individuals can develop these abilities to their maximum efficiency and maximum capability of benefiting themselves and others if they are simultaneously focusing on their personal spiritual journeys. Edgar Cayce even stated that people had the capability of doing what he did if they were willing to commit to the growth process necessary.

For the last ten years A.R.E. has offered week-long intuition training programs in Virginia Beach in the spring and the fall. The Institute has incorporated those conferences into its program and added other residential, at-a-distance, and student-designed programs to create a systematic approach to helping you develop your intuitive abilities in conjunction with rediscovering your spiritual journey and finding your mission in life.
