1000- Hour Massage Diploma

massage studentsIn order to receive this massage diploma, students must build and supplement upon the hours received through the 700-hour massage diploma program. The Cayce/Reilly School offers a variety of courses from which the student may choose the elective hours required to obtain this diploma. The student may also choose between evening courses and/or specific weekend workshops.

Aromatherapy, Level 1
This course is designed for people who are interested in incorporating aromatherapy in their daily lives, at home or in their business to greatly improve their overall wellbeing. Topics to be covered include: understanding essential oils, history, plants and their botanical families, healing properties of at least 25 essential oils, applications to incorporate in daily life, and safety guidelines.

Aromatherapy, Level 2, Part A
Level 2 goes deeper into theory, botany and chemistry of essential oils, the body systems and how essential oils can affect them. We work on appropriate treatment charts and blends for specific conditions, client assessment and interviewing. Applications include Raindrop Therapy, body wraps, balms and body butters.

Aromatherapy, Level 2, Part B
Level 2 goes deeper into theory, botany and chemistry of essential oils, the body systems and how essential oils can affect them. We work on appropriate treatment charts and blends for specific conditions, client assessment and interviewing. Applications include Raindrop Therapy, body wraps, balms and body butters.

Body Mind Awareness
Gifted healing practitioners know that the most effective work enlists clients in their own healing process, weather it is physical, emotional or spiritual. Awareness and insight give clients the power to improve their well being outside as well as inside the treatment room. Learn techniques to help your clients get "back in touch" with themselves through relaxation, breathing, visualization and mindfulness, and learn ways to respond when emotions surface through active listening and body focusing.

Breath & The Chakras
In this class we focus on the following topics: learn how to stay present with the breath and feel the energies in the chakra system, comprehension and understanding of the anatomy of breath and the human energy field, the chakras and working with the breath and the energy field, grounding technique exercises, looking within yourself to experience the power of being in the present moment. We also explore how colors affect us and emotions in the body.

Colon Hydrotherapy
Colon Hydrotherapy Theory consists of reading assignments on colonic details, Anatomy & Physiology and Edgar Cayce’s Guide to Colon Care with open book tests.

Advanced Colon Hydrotherapy
This three hour workshop covers more of Cayce’s wisdom on Colonics, Blood Type Diet and the colon, Candida, Parasites, Gas, Emotions, Tips if releasing poorly, problem sharing, and whatever else you bring up. Possible Demo depending on number of participants.

Jin Shin Do, Basic Part I
Basic part one includes an introduction to Asian healing philosophy and instruction on point location of fifty-five acupoints, including a wonderful bilateral five-point neck and shoulder release. Color-coded chart aids in finding locations of these fifty-five acupoints and can also be used for simple release method of common areas of stress and tension. The segmental release method with emotional associations is also taught and practiced in hands on sessions. A nice balance of information and hands on experience!

Jin Shin Do, Basic Part 2
Basic part two includes the study of the 8 “Strange Flows”. These are the extraordinary vessels that help to move and balance the energy in our body. Their functions for total bodymind balance are each discussed with demonstration and practice in sessions that utilize “strange flow” release patterns. A nice balance of information and hands on experience!

Windows of the Sky Acupressure Facial
Do you know anyone with headaches, eyestrain, jaw discomfort, or neck and shoulder problems? If your answer is yes and you would like to learn a method to help with these conditions, this could be the class for you! You learn traditional acupressure points in the face, neck, and shoulders to release tension and facilitate the circulation of energy throughout the body by opening the flow of energy in the face and head. This includes forty face/head points, six pairs of primary points for a wonderful neck/shoulder release, and ten vital hand points to assist the release process. The acupressure facial promotes a sense of physical ease, harmony, and balance throughout the entire body. Bodyworkers, beauticians, dental assistants, and laypersons will all find health and beauty benefits in this 14-hour course.

Radiac Appliance for Early Memory Loss
This workshop covers the theory and use of the RadiacTM/Radial Appliance as well as the solution jar with gold, silver, and wet cell wires. After a demonstration, participants practice for proficiency. The RadiacTM (Baar Products) or Radial Appliance (Cayce) is a dry battery that stimulates the circulation and rebalances the energy field. Edgar Cayce said that the appliance with gold and silver could rebuild the brain in dementia (Alzheimer's).

Raindrop Technique
This 6 hour class covers Young Living Raindrop Oils, their purpose, indications, contraindications and healing potential. After a demo, each participant will give and receive a session.

Reflexology, I
The workshop is mostly “hands on.” Students will learn basic reflexology techniques. A full routine is taught and practiced. Locating and understanding the different reflex points on the feet is also introduced.

Reflexology, II
Attunes the student for healing on the mental and emotional levels. Learn three Reiki symbols to use in-person and in long distance sessions. Participate and share healing through Reiki sessions with classmates.

Reflexology, III
Students learn additional symbols and further deepen their understanding and experience as Reiki practitioners. Become certified Reiki masters qualified to teach Reiki and pass attunements.

Reiki Certification

Reiki, I
Students learn the history and the basics of Reiki and the hand positions to facilitate self-healing & healing of others. Participate and share healing through Reiki exchanges and receive an attunement from the instructor to open the channel to the Reiki source.

Reiki, II

Neuromuscular Therapy, I
This class focuses on how to work with people in pain. If you change your structure you change your life. Learn how to look at the body as a whole and how to shift the structure of the body to alleviate pain. Learn how to make an assessment, gait analysis, and how you work with that to change structure. Focus is on working with neck pain and lower back pain, working the front of the body to affect the back of the body as well as working on the back of the body. There is a strong emphasison trigger point work. Basic principles of specific injury situations are covered emphasizing the role of the massage therapist.
