Euro Congress 2009 will take place at the Furuboda Conference and Competence Centre (www.furuboda.se), near Ahus, in Southern Sweden.

The event will be coupled with the annual gathering of The Foundation Edgar Cayce Center Sweden. Euro Congress is a bi-annual event sponsored by European Edgar Cayce centers. It is international in scope and attracts participants from all over the world.

The theme this year is "The Development of the Consciousness." The conference will stress that everything has a meaning and a goal, even though our world may seem to be in chaos.

Euro Congress 2009 had been originally planned for England in August, but logistical problems forced a change. Rather than postponing the event entirely, the Swedish Foundation offered to expand their annual conference and host the Euro Congress. Three of the planned lectures will be in English with translations into Swedish. The rest will be presented in Danish or Swedish, and the English-speaking audience will be placed in a separate room with a video feed and simultaneous translation.
Due to budget and time constraints, there are currently no social excursions planned, though they will be considered if there is enough interest.
