Here's my dream - Before I tell you about my dream, I would like to mention briefly
what's going on around me lately. My family is away for a month and
I'm going to join them shortly. At the same time I am going to our
20-college reunion. However, I had a hard time to fit my schedule
together, especially to find a flight to my reunion destination (It
was resolved yesterday). Also I need to renew my A.R.E. membership,
which I was not in a hurry about, perhaps even thinking of skipping
it for a year. Now my dream: I was going to this important annual
conference for the first time. I wanted to meet people of this association
I belonged to. I needed my husband to drop me off at the airport.
I felt that I was going to Virginia Beach. The flight was around 7:00
and it was past 6:00. I was worried that I would be late but my husband
was in no hurry. Then we were at the conference. My husband drove
me there. The place was like an arena. Lots of people were there,
most very young. I was pleasantly surprised to see an acquaintance's
son there and I greeted him, "Hi, Sean!" But he took a decoration
off the ceiling and put it to his pocket. My husband tried to get
one for our baby daughter, but he didn't and I was glad. Then some
teenagers run form where I was seated to the middle of the arena and
joined another group of people and they all ran to my side and compete
with another group of young people. All were happy. I saw this happy
girl running back to her group. I greeted her, "Hi, Jessica!" I was
surprised I knew her name. It seemed a day passed. The lady facilitator
was not happy that a lot of people didn't show up. My husband didn't
quite understand what the meeting was about. I was trying to explain
it to him. I was flipping through this colorful book, trying to find
some descriptions. I just couldn't remember the name of the association
I belonged to. Then I told him it was "Edgar Cayce Annual Conference."
Since it wasn't a meeting he was interested (In real life, he is always
skeptical of what I read and believe in but he doesn't interfere),
we both felt that he should go home. I was worried about our baby
girl. She would look for us at night. I told him I would take a train
or a bus home. We were waiting for an opportunity for him to leave
since the lady was still talking. Upon waking up, I feel that the
dream correlates to the events that are occurring in my waking life.
There was also an element of past-life experience (the arena part).
I also feel that the dream is encouraging me to renew my A.R.E. membership.
Your insight will help me understand the dream better. –
Dear
Dreamer,
Good job! I think the dream is also suggesting that because of all of
the activities and occurrences in your life (including those related to
your family) sometimes it is challenging for you to keep in perspective
what is truly important. Yes, I think the dream is suggesting that because
of its importance to you, you should renew your membership. (Information
about A.R.E. membership is available at this link: http://www.edgarcayce.org/join_w_readings.asp.)
The dream may also indicate some kind of minor disagreement between you
and your husband related to something going on in your child's life. –
Here's
my dream -
This is not really a dream, but it really bothers me because
I dream everyday. Is it normal? Even if I just sit down and
put my head down and take a nap. I still dream. They say that
the reason why people dream is because they are tired. But how
come even if I'm not tired, I always dream? There was a time
when I dreamt about my uncle dying. And it came true a few months
after. Most of my dreams are bodies of water -- like ocean,
river, etc. I also dream frequently about ships and automobiles.
What does it mean? Does it tell something about my life? Thank
you very much and I hope you can enlighten me.
Dear
Dreamer, Everything
you have said is normal. Everyone dreams every day - however,
most individuals do not remember their dreams. Science has proven
that most individuals dream an average of 90 minutes per day.
In terms of dream symbols, water is often associated with spirituality
or emotion. An automobile is often associated with the physical
body or your life's direction. Ships can correspond to as spiritual
journey. In terms of prophetic dreams, Edgar Cayce suggested
that nothing of significance ever happens to us without it first
being foreshadowed in a dream. You can find some great dream
books for additional information at: arebookstore.com.–
Here's
my dream - I am a 48-year-old male. I have dreams
with a common theme of not being able to complete a task. For
instance, I will be trying to enter a building, but all entrances
are either blocked by fences or the entrances lead to a maze
where you can never find the real entrance. Also, I have recurring
dreams of needing to make a phone call, but all phones I encounter
have buttons that don't make sense (no numbers or maybe in a
language I don't understand). Also, in my non-dreaming world
I am a professional musician. I have dreams of getting ready
for a performance and the stage will be uneven or sloped making
it impossible for me to set up my equipment without it falling
over.
Dear
Dreamer,Your
dream theme is fairly common. Essentially, it suggests a feeling
of not feeling prepared for something, or having performance
anxiety about a project ahead of time. In addition to that,
the dream with the entrance suggests a feeling on your part
of not being as successful as you want to be. The second dream
with the phone is associated with feeling as if you have some
sort of communication challenge with someone or a challenge
with trying to express yourself. Overall, the issue may simply
be about needing to have a little anxiety in order to present
a good performance, or about needing to work on an issue related
to personal self-esteem, or both. –
Here's
my dream - I've been having this dream since I was
13 years old. I feel that I am being pin down, I cannot move
or make a sound, and I feel that I am awake. I feel scare my
eyes are opened and I am very aware of what is going on around
me. The first time it happened I saw a black shadow that quickly
vanished. I was not able to identify it. All that I remember
is that it was black. I then quickly closed my eyes and began
to pray all of a sudden I was released and ran out side. My
parents weren't home at the time. I have these dreams quite
often, so I tested my self to see if I was asleep or awake.
One night I left my bedroom shades opened and the clock on the
window seal it happened, as I was feeling pin down I looked
at my window and it was day time the clock read 7 am, I then
closed my eyes and began praying as I felt released I looked
at my window and it was day time and the clock read 7:01. I've
spoken to psychiatry and he told me that I was a lucid dream
and that my mind did not send my body the message that I was
awake. Its funny but sometimes it happens right after I fall
asleep and quickly wake up. Sometimes I can stop it right when
it starts and sometimes I have no control what so ever. Lately
I've been waking up every day at 3:00am and feel scare so I
go and sleep in my little sister's room. I need to know what
this means I am 24 years old and still having these dreams.
Please help me. I need to know what is going on with me; no
one seems to know what it is.
Dear
Dreamer, Believe
it or not but your experience is very common. Instead of being
a dream, it is actually closer to an out of body experience.
The Edgar Cayce material suggests that very often when we sleep,
we "leave" the body. When this experience occurs, the individual
has left his or her body and suddenly becomes conscious. However,
he or she has no mobility over the body because the soul is
not in it. In addition, while in this state, the mind is generally
open to other levels of consciousness and individuals can often
hear and feel things that are not physical (e.g. discarnate
entities). The way to "solve" the problem is to get plenty of
sleep - for many people, this only occurs when they are physically
exhausted. Also, if you find yourself in this state of consciousness,
begin to pray and consciously try to re-enter your body. Again,
it is a frequent experience and the things you may feel cannot
hurt you. You may wish to read more about experiences like this
in the book Venture Inward, by Hugh Lynn
Cayce, or more about the nature of consciousness in the
book Edgar Cayce and the Akashic Records,
by Kevin Todeschi.–
Here's
my dream - First of all, the guy in my dream is
my classmate who is always trying to make fun of me. This is
my dream. That guy was sitting right beside me in our religion
class. We were taking down notes when he suddenly stopped writing
and held my hand. All our classmates were looking at us and
when I tried to take it back, he held it again and the second
time, he's using both of his hands to hold my hand. This is
my first dream about him. At first it felt awkward, then the
following four nights, all my dreams was about him again and
again. All in different settings but has the same concept...what
could it mean?
Dear
Dreamer, It
probably suggests that this young man likes you but the only
way he feels comfortable communicating with you is by teasing
you. If you are open to the idea of being more friendly with
this boy, why not start communicating with him before he teases
you. Ask him questions or make conversation with him. When he
sees that he can safely carry on a normal conversation with
you that should help the teasing. Good luck to you..–
Here's
my dream -
My 16-year-old granddaughter has just started dating. She is
a good girl and never gets into trouble. She told me that she
dreams about being pregnant. What could this mean? She is a
virgin.
Dear
Dreamer, Dreams
about pregnancy are not necessarily literal; they can be about
new beginnings, such as new relationships or new projects. A
dream like this might also occur when your granddaughter is
ovulating. It could also be a "warning" of some kind, encouraging
her to take the proper birth control precautions so that she
does not become pregnant. I hope that helps. –
Here's
my dream - I have been having recurring nightmares
daily in which two people I know in the past but whom I do not
speak to are tormenting me by coming into my dreams. Yes, these
two have the power to come into my mind and because of this
phenomena I have slept poorly for the past eight years. I do
not know how they do it but I only know that they can and I
am tormented by the dreams in which they seem to be playing
with my mind causing me distress and anger that someone has
violated my mind. In the nightmares they seem to be playing
out roles with my family members or just tormenting me with
the power of thought that I cannot remember the last time I
had a natural dream of my own or even enjoyed sound sleep. Can
someone help me? Or even explain this phenomenon so I know that
I am not alone and others have also suffered from this kind
of evil. Is this a form of demonic psychic power?
Dear
Dreamer, In
all likelihood, your very real and terrifying experience has
absolutely nothing to do with the people being pictured. These
individuals are probably symbolic of unresolved issues or problems
from your past or your mind (or a discarnate entity) are using
the image of these individuals. All that said, Edgar Cayce gave
a number of things that can be done to stop "unwanted psychic
experiences." Believe it or not, but the first step is to see
a chiropractor and make certain that your spine is in alignment.
Other steps include taking good physical care of yourself, giving
the mind uplifting things to focus upon, and prayer. You can
read more of the steps in detail by going to the frequently
asked questions portion of our website at: www.edgarcayce.org/question_answers.asp.
Alternatively, you might want to read the book Venture
Inward, by Hugh Lynn Cayce, that discusses experience
like yours and how individuals can stop having unwanted psychic
experiences. Good luck to you. Please follow-up on Cayce's recommended
steps as soon as you can. –
Here's
my dream - This is a recurring dream I've had for
years. I am back in high school and I can see the same hallways
with rows of lockers on each side. I am alone in the hallway.
One of two things happen in the dream: either I can't find my
locker to get my books for class, or I find it and forget the
combination to the lock to open it. I am feeling real panic
and fear about being late to class and not prepared. Another
dream sometimes is when I get everything I need and I am either
late for class or I have no idea what the class material is
about. I am not prepared; I have no homework or can't concentrate
on the teacher.
Dear
Dreamer,
The dream is fairly common and something I call a "memory pattern"
dream. This is a dream that somehow encapsulates an experience
you had in life to bring to mind the fact that you are going
through a similar experience in the present. In other words,
just as you may have felt unprepared back in school if and when
these kinds of things happened, the dream is suggesting that
something is going on in your life right now where you feel
unprepared. In all likelihood, there is something you are trying
to learn (symbolized by the school) for which you do not feel
properly equipped.–
Here's
my dream - My dream is short. I dreamed that my
17-year-old daughter was burned badly from hot water or hot
oil. I wasn't sure which?
Dear
Dreamer,
The dream suggests that your daughter is in some kind of emotional
situation in which she is likely to get "burned." In other words,
rejected or hurt, most likely in some kind of a personal relationship
situation. If this sounds like something going on in your daughter's
life, let me recommend that you work with your daughter on issues
related to self-esteem, so that when/if something like this
occurs she is adequately equipped to deal with it. –
Here's
my dream - I am a 22-year-old male living in Pennsylvania.
About ten years ago I began having horrible nightmares about
tidal waves. Every time the waves hit I am in a beach town type
community. Usually, it resembles Ocean City, Maryland, where
I have been vacationing since I was 6. Most of the time when
the waves hit all I see is instant darkness and I never wake
up from it. Other times the waves crash all around me but cause
no damage at all to me or to any buildings or structures and
the waves slowly roll back out to sea only to be immediately
followed by more waves. The waves are always at least 50 feet
tall and sometimes they seem like they could be thousands of
feet tall. Each time they come it is very, very scary. I also
feel very uncomfortable around the ocean. But after the 2004
tsunamis hit Asia and Africa the dreams have stopped. I know
dreams can have both realistic and metaphoric meaning. Do you
think maybe in this case it is a combination of both? Back in
2000 I had a horrible dream of a devastating earthquake that
toppled building and killed people. All the people I saw were
dark skinned and looked Indian. The very next day a powerful
quake hit India and killed thousands of people. Also a year
before that, I had a dream that my 11th grade teacher's Grandmother
died. One week later she was dead. I would like to know what
you think about these dreams especially the tidal wave dreams.
Dear Dreamer,
The short answer is that all individuals
dream aspects of the future. This dynamic occurs because the
highest levels of the mind - which Edgar Cayce called "the superconscious
mind" - is constantly tuning into the Akashic Records and perceiving
"shadows" of possibilities-probabilities based on current events.
Edgar Cayce stated that nothing of significance occurs in life
without it first being foreshadowed in a dream. If you would
like to read more about how we perceive the future, let me recommend
EDGAR CAYCE ON THE AKASHIC RECORDS, by
Kevin Todeschi. That said, generally we do not perceive
"world futures" unless those futures somehow symbolically correspond
to events in our own lives. In terms of your tidal wave dreams,
generally tidal waves are suggestive of undergoing extreme emotional
situations. Therefore, yes, it is possible that you saw events
that were connected to the tsunami before it happened but the
reason you were able to "see" those event were because of the
emotional uprisings going on in your own life. I hope that helps.–
Here's
my dream - I had a dream that my 4-year-old little
girl had cancer in her eyes and we were on our way to St. Jude's
cancer hospital for children, and then the dream ended. Please
help.
Dear Dreamer,
Whenever an individual has a dream about a serious health issue,
I always recommend that (to be on the safe side) the individual
pursue a medical checkup. With this in mind, if the dream is
literal, is encouraging you to seek help for your daughter immediately.
That said, however, in all likelihood the dream is metaphorical.
From this perspective, cancer of the eyes would be associated
with some kind of a perception (or something an individual is
seeing) that is "eating" him or her up. In other words, the
individual (or you) may be involved in some kind of a situation
that is causing internal turmoil because of your/her perception.
I hope that helps! –
Here's
my dream - I am constantly finding myself having
this dream that I am trying to wake up and I can't. I can hear
and feel things moving around me but I can't move. I can't speak
and can't even scream. What does this mean? It scares me because
it feels so real. Then finally whenever I wake up I can feel
the actual tears that I have been crying due to fright.
Dear Dreamer,
Believe it or not but your experience is very common. Instead
of being a dream, it is actually closer to an out of body experience.
The Edgar Cayce material suggests that very often when we sleep,
we "leave" the body. When this experience occurs, the individual

Here's
my dream - I'm 17 years old and I'm a senior. Last
night I had a dream in which I was riding the bus to one of
my friend's gatherings and I was also carrying with me my guitar,
which is a bit smaller than the other guitars. When the bus
stopped, I got out of it and all I saw was a big pile of guitars
inside their cases. I put my guitar on top of all the others
and my friend's guitar was accidentally dropped. It fell on
the ground and the guitar's neck got broken. I was terrified
about it and then suddenly she came out of the corner. She looked
at me and then at the broken guitar. I offered her my guitar
instead and all she said was "it's okay," and smiled at me.
Could you please tell me what that means?.
Dear Dreamer,
In all likelihood, it simply suggests some kind of a "competition"
between you in which you are nervous about something you are
both interested in (a boy, an activity, a class, a performance,
etc.) and you end up surpassing your friend, perhaps feeling
guilty about it. The dream is trying to suggest that your friend
is okay with it.–
Here's
my dream - I am a 19yr old
collegiate athlete and have been working out a good bit lately
and am pleased with the results on my body; I have a boyfriend
who I am now certain I am in love with but I am not telling
him this because I'm not sure how he feels. I have had this
dream a few times and it wasn't until the last time I had it
that I could remember it almost entirely. In the dream I am
at a banquet hall and am wearing a very beautiful evening dress.
I am walking around to get to the place where I am supposed
to meet my boyfriend at and everyone I talk to keeps telling
me how gorgeous I look and that they are so happy my boyfriend
and I are having a baby. I look down and realize that I am pregnant
and am completely surprised. I start to get a little bit anxious,
thinking that a pregnancy is too soon and I am surprised at
how encouraging/supportive everyone is being about it. I keep
walking and start to get more comfortable with the idea, and
am almost to the spot where I am to meet my boyfriend, then
my alarm goes off.
Dear Dreamer,It
is possible (and actually common) to dream about "probable"
futures before they happen. The Edgar Cayce material suggests
that this occurs because individuals tap into the Akashic Records
of the future and dream about a potential event before it occurs.
If you would like to read more about this topic, let me recommend
the book, EDGAR CAYCE ON THE AKASHIC RECORDS,
by Kevin Todeschi, which you can find at :www.arebookstore.com.
Also, because of the pregnancy information, I would highly recommend
the book, BORN TO LIVE, by Dr. Gladys
McGarey, which you can find at: www.amazon.com. Good
luck to you. –
Here's
my dream - What I have experienced is not a dream.
While driving to work, listening to the radio and singing a
song that my dear uncle and I enjoyed, a question popped into
my mind, "Who will be the next person to die in our family?"
Two weeks later, my uncle was told he had colon cancer and passed
on three days later. hat was September 10, 2002. While driving
again, this same question popped into my mind, "Who will be
the next person to die in our family?" Two weeks to that day,
my brother was killed while on his job. He was on his crew-boat
and an oil tanker ran over his boat like they weren't even there.
He drowned but the other 3 crew members survived. This happened
on April 28,2005. We had to take him off life support on April
30, 2005. On December 28,2005, while playing with our toy poodle,
Princess, a thought came to me while playing with her, "What
would we do if she died?" How would we handle that? That night
at 10 p.m. she died. Please help me! I don't know what is happening
to me.
Dear Dreamer,
Believe it or not
but all individuals get glimpses of their futures in the dream
state, and often those glimpses come to mind as déjà vu experiences
in the waking state. Your experience suggests that somehow you
are often in touch with the Akashic Records of the future and
that part of you is always aware of these probable futures before
they happen. It is nothing to be afraid of; instead, you need
to learn how you can harness your own intuition. Let me recommend
two things: First of all, the book, Edgar
Cayce on the Akashic Records, by Kevin Todeschi, and
also consider attending an intuition-related conference at A.R.E.
You can find out about A.R.E. conference programs in Virginia
Beach and throughout the country by clicking on the appropriate
"Conferences" link at www.edgarcayce.org.
Good luck to you. –
Here's
my dream - I've submitted this dream twice and would
like to have an interpretation. In the dream, I was chilling
with my friends and all of the sudden we started jumping for
fun. All of a sudden, while I was jumping I kept going higher
and higher until I lost gravity, I was really, really high just
like when you are on a plane. It was weird. I just kept going
up and up it was like something is pulling me up to the sky.
As much as I wanted to keep going, I wanted down at the same
time because I was scared. It was creepy but at the same time
it was fun because I was flying. At the end of the dream I didn't
return to the ground, I just kept on going up.
Dear Dreamer,
If
the dream is metaphorical, it could simply suggest that you
have no idea how far (or how high up) you are going to be headed
in life. The dream could also have a literal element and be
a journey in consciousness. In other words, while you were sleeping
some aspect of yourself actually left your body and keep rising
to higher levels of consciousness. The imagery you saw was simply
the result of your mind trying to understand what was happening.
In order to read more about these levels of consciousness, you
might consider reading Edgar Cayce on
the Akashic Records, by Kevin Todeschi, and Journeys
out of Body, by Robert Monroe.–
Here's
my dream - I'm not really sure if this is a dream,
a past life, or something entirely different and I swear it
happened. Last winter I was lying in bed practicing some self-hypnosis
to help me relax. Then when i was in the sleep a question popped
into my head. I asked myself, "Who am I going to end up with?"
After that I started to see of these eyes of all different types
fly by me, most of them looking evil in nature but then they
stopped moving and i saw a pair of these great kind big eyes.
My whole head flashed blue and I was suddenly in this meadow,
which looked and felt as real as anything I have ever experienced
in the awaking world. There I saw a gazebo and my point of view
was one of a sweeping film camera almost. In the gazebo I saw
this woman sitting next to me and I was about 10 years older
than I am now. (I am 16.) We were happy, and I felt a surge
of love. Then I turned around and saw my parents sitting on
the other side, aged 10 years as well...I have practiced self-hypnosis
again and i have never even come close to an experience like
that. What did I discover in my subconscious?
Dear Dreamer,
In
all likelihood, your experience opened you up to a higher level
of consciousness that Edgar Cayce would call the superconscious
mind or the Akashic Records. At this level we can literally
"see" possible futures. For example, if you've ever had the
experience of déjà vu, Cayce suggested that many of these experiences
are fragmentary dream recall -we often dream about our future
before it happens and then when we have one of these experiences,
we think, "Wait a minute, I've already had this experience."
If you want to read more about how we can access information
from our own possible futures, let me recommend the book Edgar
Cayce on the Akashic Records by Kevin
Todeschi. –
Here's
my dream - I had a dream that I was cutting up the
drug cocaine and snorting it, like I was a pro at it. My cousin
told me my dream meant I'm going to turn into a druggie, is
this true?
Dear Dreamer,
First of all, if
you stay away from drugs and never take cocaine there would
be absolutely no chance of you ever becoming a "druggie." A
literal interpretation of the dream would suggest that you are
already "doing" too many drugs. However, a metaphorical interpretation
may simply be that you have a tendency to be really good at
things that are harmful to you or things that you know you shouldn't
be involved with. –
Here's
my dream - I have been an avid fan of Edgar Cayce's
knowledge and spiritual insight since the late 1980's and early
'90s. I purchased a couple of Edgar Cayce books on dreams around
this time, one of which was Dreams, Your Magic Mirror by Elsie
Sechrist. The books I have are a great help to me (I treasure
them), and they have greatly assisted me in the interpretation
of my own dreams over the years. However, I am rather puzzled
by a dream I had just last night. While I had a rather "busy"
night of dreaming, the only dream that I recalled vividly upon
awakening was that of dreaming that I was sleeping with a case
of eggs under my pillow. Can you please assist me with the possibilities
of what this dream could mean? While it seems rather simplistic
by nature, I feel I need another analysis other than my own
for this one...or perhaps just to compare notes. Thank you for
your generous assistance and interpretation.
Dear Dreamer,
Most often eggs are symbolic of ideas, plans, or projects that
an individual has yet to give birth to. The fact that you are
sleeping on a case of eggs under your pillow could indicate
that you have the tendency of giving thought to many creative
ideas and projects but may "sleep" on the idea rather than giving
birth to it. In other words, the dream may be a prompting to
quit thinking about something and actually go ahead and do it!
I hope that helps. –
Here's
my dream - I am a 29-year-old male and I have been
having a recurring dream since I was a small child. At about
the age of six I started to have dreams of a black robed and
hooded figure standing at the foot of my bed. Nothing bad happens
it just stands over me watching me. This is a very vivid dream
often waking me in the middle of the night. I would like to
know what this means and why I have had it for so long.
Dear Dreamer,
Because of the recurring
nature of the experience, it is quite possible that over the
years you have been catching glimpses of one of your guides
or a guardian angel of some kind. Edgar Cayce suggested that
just before, during and after the sleep state, our minds become
open to higher levels of consciousness. For a book that explores
Cayce's information on the angelic realms, I would recommend
Edgar Cayce on Angels, Archangels and
the Unseen Forces, by Robert Grant, which you can find
at:www.arebookstore.com.
Edgar Cayce also suggested that Flower Newhouse, author of many
books on angels, was also a good source of information on the
angelic hierarchy.

Here's
my dream -
Let me give a little background information before I tell the
dream. I have had been broken up with my boyfriend for a month
now and he was the one who did the breaking up. Ever since this
happened I have gotten closer to God - I mean I always had God
in me but now I have a relationship with God. I have been talking
to Him and praying to Him and reading the Bible and it has been
an everyday thing. And for a couple of weeks now, I have been
having dreams about faith and prayer. One night my mom had a
dream that my granddaddy came to her and told me that my old
boyfriend and me were going to get back together and don't worry
about it. She said she felt his mustache touch her face then
she woke up and saw him standing to the door. Lately, both of
us have been having dreams about me and my ex- getting back
together. With this in mind, I would like for you to answer
a question. How can you tell the difference between a God-sent
dream and one that the devil sends? –
Dear Dreamer,
Rather
than thinking that dreams originate anywhere outside yourself,
it would be much more accurate to suggest that dreams related
to spiritual matters originate from your higher self or soul
self, and dreams of a lower nature originate from the lower
part of yourself. The devil has absolutely nothing to do with
dreams. That said, your dream could be interpreted literally
or metaphorically. A literal interpretation would suggest that
the two of you are getting back together. A metaphorical interpretation
would suggest that you are about to start the relationship you
always dreamed of - the image of your boyfriend in the dream
is simply a symbol for that person. I hope that helps. If you
would like to read how it is possible for the deceased to communicate
with the living through dreams (and otherwise) let me recommend
the book, Testimony of Light, by Helen
Greaves. –
Here's my dream - My dream involved myself and possibly up to 2-3 other people. What
I remember is that there was a pounding sound, which was scary. I
knew someone was either breaking into or intruding the home I was
in or was coming after us. I felt we needed to protect ourselves.
The most vivid memory I have is of me and these other people - which
I have no facial or other memory of - at the bottom of the basement
stairs looking up. I had a baseball bat in my hand and was preparing
for a fight. That is, I was preparing to protect us and ready to go
into "combat." In the doorway at the top of the stairs appeared a
man with a black mask on his face looking down at us. I remember his
eyes peering out of his covering. The mask itself may have only been
covering his eyes, sort of like glasses would with his eyes exposed
- like "Zorro?" I don't remember exactly. I remember staring into
his face and eyes for what seemed to be a long period of time. During
this time I remember asking myself, "Is this something that will happen
to me in the future?" I was scared but not a "frozen" kind of scared.
I remember my body bracing itself and knowing that this was serious
and kind of like an "oh shit - how do I get out of this?" kind of
stance. I just stared at him and the dream ended. –
Dear Dreamer,
The dream could have a number of interpretations. However, a number
of things that you stated (e.g. going into combat, being with a group
of other people, and being ready to be up at bat) suggests to me that
the dream is work-related and that the company is bracing itself for
some kind of a "takeover" or some kind of a new CEO that has all of
your fellow employees frightened in terms of their safety. If you
do not have a work situation like this occurring, the dream may simply
be indicating that an unknown experience (the masked man), that may
at first appear threatening will present itself in your life experience. –
Here's my dream - I live in London, and was profoundly
affected by the 7/7 tube and bus bombings. My brother, father
and cousins were all in the city at the time, and we were
lucky that none of them were involved. So I didn't find
it particularly surprising when I had a dream about another
bombing. On the night of the 20th July I dreamed I was looking
at a map that had a sort of scalene triangle marked out
on it. I saw that each of the corners of the triangle was
a tube station. I focused on the top corner and thought,
"Warren Street. That's a pretty rubbish station to bomb."
I keep a dream diary, which I fill out as soon as I wake
up, so I am totally sure that this is accurate. On the 21st
July there was another bombing, and the map of affected
stations on the news was exactly the same triangle as I'd
seen in my dream. The top point was Warren Street. You may
know that this bombing failed quite spectacularly. I just
wondered why I apparently foresaw something that was not
a disaster on any scale - why didn't I dream the 7/7 bombing,
or the tragedy of 9/11? And can I expect any similar dreams
in the future?–
Dear Dreamer,
According to
the Edgar Cayce information, dreaming about the future is
actually much more common than most individuals think. In
fact, Cayce suggested that nothing of significance ever
happens to an individual without it first being foreshadowed
in a dream. If you want to read more about how the subconscious
mind can see into the future as well as the past, let me
recommend the book Edgar Cayce on
the Akashic Records, by Kevin Todeschi. In terms
of your own experience, your mind was probably already focused
on the prospect of terrorism because of the earlier incident,
and while you were in the sleep state you literally "tuned
into" a probability being recorded in the Akashic Records.

Here's my dream - This is my boyfriend's dream and it has been really hard on him. It's
causing him not to be able to sleep. For the last couple of weeks
he has been having a dream that he is either knocking something off
the table, the chair or he sees something falling and he is trying
to catch it. However, in the midst of unsuccessfully trying to catch
it, he wakes up. It is really disturbing him, because he is losing
sleep, and it was only happening maybe once a week, but now it is
happening every night for last week or so. What does it mean?
Dear Dreamer,
The dream is about losing control or having things that are out of control impacting his life. Since Edgar Cayce suggested that dreams most often contrast and correlate the events of the day, you need to talk to your boyfriend about what is going on in his life that seems out of control (e.g. his work, his finances, his feelings, etc.). Once he comes to terms with whatever is bothering him (for example, perhaps he is overwhelmed with his job and feels like he can't keep control of everything going on around him), he will stop having the dream. Essentially, the dreams suggest he needs to make some kind of a change in his life. –
Here's my dream - My brother has just recently started having dreams where he is violent
and he acts them out while asleep. Previously, he woke up with his
girlfriend in a headlock! Recently, he dreamt of dogs attacking him.
Please help! We are concerned because his girlfriend is pregnant.
Dear Dreamer,
Content Acting out violence while dreaming can occur when the dreamer has
unresolved anger or issues about something that he or she is suppressing.
For your brother's (as well as his girlfriend's) protection, he needs
to seek out counseling immediately. Actually, it might be best for
him to see a regression therapist - perhaps being hypnotized back
to whatever the issue is and being able to deal with it with his present
state of mind. –
Here's my dream - I recently became an A.R.E member and I am on a mission. Last night,
I finished reading the book "Soul Development" by Kevin J. Todeschi
(now titled Edgar Cayce on Soul Growth; available at www.arebookstore.com).
I selected number 21 from the "Affirmations from the Edgar Cayce Readings."
Before I went to sleep, I prayed and I asked God to show me what I
am supposed to be doing, "Please show me in a plain and simple way."
That same night I dreamed that I was in the actual town that I grew
up in. I was standing atop a hillside, facing the street. The name
of the street is actually "First Street. Suddenly a van appeared (it
passed in front of me). The van was moving quickly and downward toward
a body of water called "the Mill Pond." When the van reached the bottom
or end of this road, it purposely hit a dog and the dog howled loudly.
It was as if this act (of hitting the dog) was payback for something
the dog's owner did to the driver. The van disappeared to the right.
Then two vans appeared to my left. One of the vans was white and the
other was a dark color. The driver of one of the vans exited his vehicle.
He (in a very intimidating fashion) approached me and my friend James
(who is Chinese American). The driver said, "Did anybody see what
happened?" We responded, "No!" The driver responded, "Good!" He stepped
back and said "Here!" He dropped some kind of small container on the
ground. We assumed it contained drugs judging from his demeanor. That
scene seemed like a hush-hush or you're going to get hurt situation.
James and I thought to ourselves, "We don't want that" (the drugs).
We just turned and walked away, leaving the small container on the
ground. In the second dream, I remember seeing, to my right, vending
machines with snacks and beverages. I remember noticing "Sprite" in
the machines. The cost was 1.00 on the machine. When I awoke, I got
the sense, "Drink Jesus!" At some point in these dreams, it seemed
like I was in a foreign land, perhaps China. I am obviously thirsty.
I am on a mission to quench this thirst. Will you please help with
an interpretation?
Dear Dreamer, In
essence, the dream seems to be starting by suggesting that before you
move on to what it is you will or should be doing, there is something
(from your past) that you must take care of "First." That something
seems to have something to do with an emotional situation (the pond)
that is rarely spoken of ("a hush, hush" situation) in which someone
seemed to have gotten hurt. I know that all sounds somewhat general,
but you should be able to figure out what it is that you essentially
squelched within yourself that still needs to be dealt with and healed
in terms of a "hurt" or "emotional situation" with another person (probably
a friend or former friend because a dog is often a symbol for "man's
best friend"). The quick glimpse of the snack machines and the "drink
Jesus" idea suggests that you need to get more involved in your own
spiritual search and perhaps continue looking at that search in a way
that you have yet to pursue (e.g. being in a foreign land). I hope that
helps. –
Here's my dream - I am a new member of A.R.E. Last night before I went to bed, I read
the article, "How to study the Edgar Cayce readings." That night I
had two dreams. Although I don't recall which dream occurred first,
I do know that I awoke feeling excited and eager for an interpretation.
Since becoming an A.R.E. member and reading the book Soul Purpose
by Mark Thurston, my dreams feel like they're "clues to next steps"
and I want to step. The words "bubbly" and "vivacious" probably, best,
describe my feelings. Last night, I dreamed that I was in a professional
classroom. Our assignment was to use art to create some form of self-expression.
I left the classroom for something. Upon re-entering this building,
I noticed that my classmates had already begun to post their artwork
on the entrance door as well as on nearby surrounding walls. I was
excited to see their work. I thought, "I want to put mine up too."
My artwork was a colorful picture of an African princess. (I am an
African American woman.) I was excited and impressed by my picture,
as it fits in with the works of my classmates. I returned to the classroom
to retrieve my picture. My artwork was a long type written paragraph
on a piece of white paper. I took the piece of paper and tried to
position it on top of a collage of the class' work. I finally placed
it in the bottom right corner of the collage. In the second dream,
I appeared on the third floor in a government building, looking at
job postings on the wall near an elevator. A woman approached me on
my right side. She said (with an air of excitement and encouragement),
"Hey, why don't you work on this floor!" I responded, "Ah, that's
okay, I already work on the second floor. I just wanted to see what
was posted." Again, the woman tried to encourage me to do something
(employment-related) on this third floor. I took my right hand and
placed it on her right shoulder. I moved myself closer to her and
said in her ear "that's okay, I'm a social worker. I work with children."
she responded, "Come on!" We took steps forward. My hesitancy was
due to my not knowing what took place on the third floor. Therefore,
I was uncertain if my experience was appropriate for employment on
this third floor. In my waking life, I am a social worker. I am a
program director for a homeless shelter for families with children.
I know that you receive an enormous amount of requests for dream interpretations.
I am writing because your past interpretations were so precise and
accurate. I have been attentive to the signposts mentioned in the
book "Soul Purpose." Please help!!!
Dear Dreamer,
The dream suggests that part of you is still trying to figure out "what
am I supposed to be doing with my life?" The fact that you are already
on the second floor employed in a building that is trying to get you
to the third floor could suggest that you need to be doing what you're
doing at a "higher lever." In terms of "what" that is, however, the
white piece of paper suggests that the mission has something to do with
communication - a blank piece of paper could also be creativity. Perhaps
you need to help teach others what you know to do based on your experience.
I hope that helps. In terms of next steps for your reading materials,
I would suggest Edgar Cayce on Soul Growth
(originally titled Soul Development), by Kevin Todeschi. Also, in August/September
we plan to launch an on-line Discovering Your
Soul's Purpose course written by Mark Thurston. Check back to
www.edgarcayce.org after August 15 for more information. Welcome to
A.R.E. membership! –
Here's my dream - I
dreamt I was a soldier (male, although I am a female), in the countryside,
trying to hide from the enemy. I hide in a haystack and the enemy
used their bayonets to pierce the haystack. I FEEL the blade pierce
my chest, grate against bone, then all is nothingness. I wake with
my hands clutched around the imagined blade at my chest. In another
dream I am a young girl, playing near a farm pond in Virginia (I was
stationed at Langley AFB at the time) and I fall into the pond. I
fall into a swarm of water Moccasins and I FEEL them biting my back
and arms. Then there is nothing, blackness. What does dreaming of
death mean? I simply fade to black in my dreams...I'm aware but there
is nothing. I slowly come to myself.
Dear Dreamer,Both
dreams are indicative of past-life experiences. However, we do not simply
dream about past lives - generally these dreams are connected to something
occurring in the dreamer's present. A past life dream occurs when the
subconscious mind of the dreamer searches for an experience in the soul's
past that will bring to mind a similar experience in the soul's present.
With this in mind, both dreams seem to indicate that some part of your
life is coming to an end (e.g. a job, a relationship, a career) and
part of you may feel totally overwhelmed by the experience - in other
words, it is lie a symbolic death. If you would like to read more about
the topic past lives, let me recommend the book Children's
Past Lives, by Carol Bowman. The Edgar Cayce organization (A.R.E.)
also offers a past-life course that you can do online. It will give
you insights into possible past lives. You can find the course at this
link :

Here's my dream - Since you last helped me with a dream I have joined A.R.E. - your
last interpretation was so on point and accurate. Recently, I applied
an exercise in the book, Soul Purpose, by Mark
Thurston, by asking myself "what is my life mission?" before
going to sleep. In my dream, I walked with confidence into a bathroom.
I took of my jacket. I was wearing a white shirt and beige pants.
I am a doctor in a bathroom for people who need their hair done. When
I awoke, I heard the song "I hope you dance!" Those lyrics seem to
touch my soul whenever I hear them on the radio. I am uncertain if
this message relates to my life mission. Your last interpretation
was so on point and accurate. I am on a mission! Please help.
Dear Dreamer,
The
dream suggests that you have the ability to help people eliminate their
worries and concerns - being in the bathroom is associated with elimination,
and the hair is connected to thoughts and ideas. The song, "I hope you
dance," is also associated with encouraging and/or inspiring people.
With all of these things in mind, the dream may be indicating that your
"mission" is to serve as some type of "counselor," helping people find
the inspiration and a belief in themselves to do what they were born
to do. Whether or not you decide to do this "professionally," such as
a professional counselor or in a ministerial-type role, or informally
such as a listening ear that is always available and helpful is probably
up to you. I hope that helps. –
Here's my dream - My
mother often has dreams about tragedies that come true. Once my mom
had a dream about my sister's brain - there were lights coming of
her brain like someone was pointing out what was wrong with her. Soon
after my mom took her to the hospital and they did an E.E.G and said
she had complex seizures. Does this mean my mom can predict the future?
Dear Dreamer,
Actually,
in the dream state everyone has access to psychic information and
information about the future. Edgar Cayce suggested that while we
dream, our mind becomes open to more extended states of consciousness
and has access to information far beyond that realized by the conscious
mind. In fact, Cayce stated that nothing of significance happens to
us without it first being foreshadowed in our dreams. If you would
like to read more about how the mind has access to prophetic information
and insights, let me recommend the book, Edgar
Cayce on the Akashic Records. –
Here's my dream
- I had a weird dream. I dreamt that my father had died and my brothers
and sister and I were at the reading of his will. His girlfriend was
there too and a lawyer. I think my deceased mom was there too. We
were listening to the reading and I was reading the paper too. Then
we found out that he had disinherited us and left everything to his
girl friend and someone I don't know. I said I wanted to contest it
but the lawyer said I couldn't even though he (my father) has dementia.
I told my dad's girlfriend that I would kill her (!?) and I stomped
out crying. It was a beautiful day outside. It's weird because it
was so real and it is true! My father has dementia and we think he
has written us off because he has the mean kind of dementia and he
doesn't bother with us any more. He only cares about his girl who
we feel is taking advantage of him. I feel helpless to do anything.
It's just weird how it mirrored my life! I've never had such a realistic
dream before...it's kind of scary.
Dear Dreamer,
The Edgar Cayce information suggests that nothing of significance ever
happens to us without it first being foreshadowed in our dream. Therefore,
as you have indicated, your dream may be extremely prophetic. [If
you would like to read more about how this envisioning the future
is even possible, let me recommend the book, Edgar
Cayce on the Akashic Records, by Kevin Todeschi.] That said,
rather than just sitting back and waiting for your dream to occur
in waking life, I think that the dream might have occurred to prompt
you to change the situation. After all, the future is not fixed. With
this in mind, you may wish to find a competent lawyer now and begin
to make the case before your father's passing - giving the courts
the ability to evaluate his sanity and his care while he is still
alive. Good luck to you. –
Here's my dream - My
6-year-old is having bad dreams. She says there is no one in her dreams,
just some space in the room. When she has these dreams she wakes up
shaking and scared. She has also started shaking and appeared scared
while she is awake. When we try to talk to her about the dreams she
covers her ears and says we are making her more scared. I'm worried
about her. Any insights you could give me would be appreciated.
Dear Dreamer,
First of all, the Edgar Cayce readings would probably recommend pre-sleep
suggestion. As your daughter is falling asleep, sit near her bed and
tell her reassuring thoughts: "You are in a safe place you have nothing
to worry about." "Mommy and Daddy love you and will protect you."
"You are going to have good and happy dreams tonight." And so forth.
Since she wants to talk about the dreams, if you can try to get her
to draw or color her dream and then ask her to color what she would
like to happen. You might get a sense of what is occurring from the
drawing. In all likelihood, the dreams are being facilitated by some
kind of fear (either present-day or past-life). If it's past life
in nature, the book Children's Past Lives, by
Carol Bowman, will be helpful. If it's present day, somehow
you've got to get her to communicate what is going on in her life,
or at least watch when the dreams occur so you can eventually deduce
what experience or what group of people seems to stimulate their occurrence.
Good luck to you. –
Here's my dream - As background information, near where I live a young woman named Erica
Baker was abducted about 5-6 years ago while walking her dog. She
has not been found. I've had a dream where I see her at this house
in a shed, tied up with rope and duct tape. I've had this vision of
where the house is and what it looks like, and the vibes are very
strong. I don't know whether I should tell someone or not. Please
help. As background information, near where I live a young woman named

Dear Dreamer,
If the dream is literal, it suggests that psychically you are picking up on information that could lead to someone discovering what happened to this young woman. With this in mind, you need to pass the information on to the police or the authorities. If you don't feel comfortable talking to them or calling, at least send as detailed a letter as you can anonymously. That said, however, dreams like this are generally not literally but metaphorical. One metaphorical interpretation would be that part of you feels completely trapped and unable to escape or speak up regarding some kind of life's direction (e.g. work) or relationship, and you really don't know what to do about it. If this is the case, I would seriously consider seeing a counselor. In any event, I think you need to also find a way to pass on your information about Ms. Baker to the authorities, just in case. Good luck to you. –
Here's my dream - People
say that if you die in your dreams you die in real life, although
I have had this dream where I was walking through my school and all
of a sudden was stabbed in the back with a knife. In this dream I
did die but in the next segment of my dream after being stabbed I
was a ghost trying to help find the killer and help others and was
standing underneath a weeping willow.
Dear Dreamer,The statement that if you die in your dream you die in real life is an Old Wives Tales, and it is incorrect. Dying in a dream has a variety of possible interpretations. In your case, the dream suggests that someone at school may be "stabbing you in the back." In other words, the dream suggests that you may have someone gossiping inappropriately about you and that may have made you or them sad (e.g. the weeping willow).

Here's my dream - I
am 34 years old I am married and have four beautiful children. A cousin
of mine had a dream about me that we were riding in my van and some
strange lady was driving us somewhere and she didn't know where she
was taking us but she kept on insisting everything was going to be
okay. The lady drove into a cemetery that was not familiar to my cousin
and than we got out of the van. I had started to say that I was tired
of everything. My cousin felt the lady's hand on her shoulder and
she told her everything would be okay. When my cousin turned to look
back at me, I was not there but there was a headstone with my name
on it. Suddenly, my cousin, husband and my children were standing
over my headstone crying and the lady was gone. Well this dream she
told me just gave me chills and really scared me and also scared the
heck out of my cousin. What does this mean? Am I going to die soon?
Is this a sign? Please reply; I am very shaken up.
Dear Dreamer,
If I could make one change when it comes to people's knowledge of dreams it would be to disseminate everywhere the fact when we dream about another person that dream is not generally for or about that other person. In other words, in all likelihood the dream has absolutely nothing to do with you but is instead meant entirely for your cousin. With this in mind, your cousin needs to ask herself what you symbolize to her. Do you symbolize the perfect family? The perfect job? Her best friend? Whatever it is, the dream is trying to communicate to your cousin that something is coming to an end in her life. If you're her best friend, then it could indicate an unexpected move. If you symbolize the best job, then your cousin may be on the verge of losing her job. However, rather than becoming depressed or upset, your cousin needs to remember the older woman's advice: everything will be okay. The dream is probably about changes coming to your cousin's life. –
Here's my dream - I
am 29-years-old, since of the age of five I have had these scary and
unexplainable dreams. I still constantly experience them, about 3
or 4 times a year. In my dreams it is like the devil is taking me
over. He makes me feel as if I cant breath. When I yell for help,
nobody hears me. When this happens, sometimes I can even hear the
TV on if my kids are awake and I can often open my eyes and see what
everyone is doing but nobody can really hear me. My husband used to
freak out but now he is use to it. I don't feel like I'm possessed
or need an exorcist, but I want this to stop happening. Please help.
Dear Dreamer,
First of all, your experience
is much more common than you might think and secondly, it has nothing
to do with the devil. Oftentimes, people describe their experience as
being aware that they are lying in bed but they cannot move. All at
once they may feel hands on them or someone pushing them down into the
bed but they cannot scream out. If something is really occurring inside
the house, they are totally conscious of it but they are unable to communicate
with their surroundings. This experience is actually an "out of body"
experience. Edgar Cayce often stated that in the dream state we often
leave and return to our bodies. When this experience happens to someone,
generally what has occurred is that they have not totally re-entered
the body and therefore have no control over it. They became "consciously
aware" while in an altered state of sleep consciousness. In this state
an individual can sense other beings, such as "discarnate entities."
The experience usually happens to people when they are exhausted and
when their spine is out of alignment. Therefore, to stop the experiences
from happening, Edgar Cayce would recommend getting enough regular sleep
and seeing a chiropractor or an osteopath to make certain your spine
is in alignment - you don't have to say anything about the nighttime
experience. For additional information on stopping "unwanted psychic
experiences," see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) portion of the
Edgar Cayce homepage at: www.edgarcayce.org –
Here's my dream - I
have been suffering from some type of seizure for 18 months. At first
it was thought to be epilepsy caused by a cyst I have in my right
temporal lobe. Still I have no diagnosis of the cause, and no treatment
to prevent it. Recently I have also started to have temper attacks;
this is really out of character for me, and I hate feeling such anger
for no reason, every one considered me to be laid back and relaxed
until now! I have frightened friends and family with the change of
personality. I dreamt I was smashing my sister's head (who I love
dearly and would kill anyone who hurt her) in to a stone fireplace
in a house were we used to live. I stopped for a moment looked at
her face to see her eyes pleading with me asking why are you doing
this, I look at her feeling nothing but evil and carry on. I woke
up really upset it was really real as though I had done this terrible
thing to her. Do you think this means I could carry this horrible
evil act out in waking hours? Please HELP ME!
Dear Dreamer,The dream could simply have been a symbol of your own anger attempting to destroy your inner child, not necessarily a precognitive dream of your attempting to hurt your sister. The Edgar Cayce material might suggest that in addition to whatever treatment you are currently pursuing, you might want to consider seeing a chiropractor to make certain that your spine is in alignment. Oftentimes, a misalignment of the spine can cause all kinds of heightened responses. In addition, it might be good to find a chiropractor that also does acupuncture, as a means of calming your anger. Please consider finding a chiropractor/acupuncturist as soon as possible. Good luck to you.

Here's my dream - Note:
Three different individuals submitted these three dreams but they
all have similar interpretations. Dream 1
Dear A.R.E.: I am back in high school, but I am the age I am now (32). In the dream, I usually realize that I have not been to one class in particular all year, and I need it to graduate. The dream usually ends when I realize that I haven't been in school for years. Dream 2
I'm getting married in May of this year. I had a dream that my fiancé and I are in the limo on the way to the wedding and I realize that I forgot to book the minister, forgot my makeup and that I am wearing black flat shoes, having forgotten my wedding shoes. What does this all mean?
Dream 3
I am in elementary school and this morning before going to school I had a dream that I thought I had gotten dressed but when I went to school I saw that I hadn't gotten dressed. No one in my class noticed; they acted normal.
Dear Dreamer,
Each
of these dreams suggest that the dreamer is not feeling prepared for
something. Whether it's because the dreamer feels that he/she has too
many things to do and will never find the time to accomplish everything
that the schedule demands, or - as in the case of the elementary school
student - the dreamer not feeling as properly attired as everyone else
- all of these dreams suggest not being ready, equipped, or prepared
for whatever is going on in life. Similar dreams occur, for example,
when an adult dreams about being back in school and the teacher is passing
out a test that day (and the dreamer didn't know there was going to
be a test). All of these dreams are simply about feeling unprepared. –
Here's my dream - I
had a dream about eating a meat chop and after I take a bite it looks
like just pure fat. Now I can't eat a chop and when I think of the
dream I feel very sick.
Dear Dreamer,
In all likelihood the dream has one of two meanings related to dietary advice. If you are eating too much fat and too many meat products, perhaps resulting in high cholesterol or various health problems, the dream is a subconscious motivator attempting to help you change your eating habits. Another possibility is that the night of the dream you ate something that affected your assimilation processes negatively and the dream was portraying the literal fact that you had nearly made yourself sick. –
Here's my dream - I'm
very disturbed because of this dream and what happens during/after.
I am a 32-year-old female and I have been happily married for 10 years.
I am also very prone to sleepwalking and night terrors. Ever week
for about 2 months now I have had a dream where I get out of bed walk
into the kitchen to get a knife and come back to bed and violently
kill my husband. I often wake up crying with my husband holding me
tightly. But last week I woke up in the kitchen holding a pen as if
it were a knife. I am worried that I may be acting out the dream as
I sleepwalk. Please interpret this dream and tell me if it is possible
that I might be acting this dream out.
Dear Dreamer,
If
the experience is simply a dream, than it suggests that part of you
may be oppressing or trying to "kill" part of your husband or your
relationship with your husband. Conversely, it might indicate that
your husband has been oppressing a part of you. On the other hand,
if you are prone to acting out your dreams, then I would highly suggest
that you find a regression therapist immediately and be hypnotized
to discover the root cause of your aggression so that you can heal
it and not act on it in the dream state. The aggression could be connected
to something you are not even consciously aware of, or it might even
have its roots in a past life. Again, call a regression therapist. –
Here's my dream - I
was diagnosed with cancer in the blood about two months ago; for the
past 3-4 nights I've been having dreams of my own death, either I
hear from people that I past away or I go to my house and I can't
be seen by my wife and kids. The one that threw me over was just last
night I had a dream of going to my own funeral. I was asked by my
wife to go to a funeral of a friend of hers but when we got there
I noticed that it was me in the casket. Please let me know if this
means something.
Dear Dreamer,
Obviously, one possibility suggested by the dreams is that part of your mind may suspect that your illness is terminal. However, that is not the only interpretation. Another interpretation is that the dream is simply presenting your fears - enabling you to experience in the dream state the feelings and anxieties that you may be unable or unwilling to discuss while awake. Another likely possibility is that the dream is suggesting that - perhaps in part because of your illness - your old life has come to an end. In other words, recent events may have given you a whole new perspective on life and what you want to do with your life. You might want to ask for a dream on the question: "What should I do about my illness?" Dream on it and see what happens. Good luck to you. –
