TIME: Check-in is 3:30-5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 19th. The retreat begins with the evening meal at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19th and runs through approximately 10:00 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013.
COST: $260 per person. Includes lodging, one set of linens and towels, eight meals, and the program. There is no maid service. PREREGISTRATION: A non-refundable deposit of $50 per person will reserve your place only until August 19th. At that time, the remainder of the registration fee is due or the space may be reassigned. Full refunds cannot be made after August 19th. The participant is responsible for submitting the remaining fee. No invoices or receipts will be mailed.
MEALS: Nutritious family style meals, including vegetarian and diabetic options, are included in the registration fee.
ROOMS: All lodge rooms have two beds and a private bath. Two people will be assigned to a room, unless a third is requested. We will assign a roommate unless you specify one at registration. There are no televisions, clocks, coffee pots or phones in the rooms.
CHILDREN: Parents must arrange for the supervision of children at all times. Cribs may be supplied if requested upon registration. If you will be bringing a child, please contact Ms. Lou Umscheid for costs and additional information at louumscheid@gmail.com or 919-643-0232.
WHAT TO BRING: A special item or two for the silent auction. If you are donating services, please bring any equipment that you need, e.g. massage table. Money raised from the auction or services is donated to A.R.E. Headquarters. Clothes: casual, bring a sweater, jacket, comfortable shoes, and rain gear. The retreat is informal!
BOOK SALES: We will have a selection of books related to the program for sale at the retreat. The money raised will be used to support the Southeast Region. (Cash, Personal Checks and Credit cards )
COMMON INTEREST SESSIONS: As is customary at this retreat, we will have these sessions for small groups led by volunteers. If you have
a special gift, talent or interest, please consider sharing it with others during these sessions. If you need a
handout for your presentation, please bring copies with you for approximately 80 people.
