The Way of Knowingness: The Intuitive Path to Your Spiritual Destiny
A new book by Kim O’Neill

book Way of Knowingness O'NeillRenowned author, psychic, and angel channel Kim O'Neill takes you on an amazing soul growth journey sharing astonishing new insights on ways to unlock the secrets of your destiny, bringing you total peace and a deep sense of purpose, happiness, and fulfillment in her new book. Below is an excerpt from Chapter 3: The Five Guiding Principles:

Issues represent all of the different forms of human experience on the earthly plane. An issue is best described as a necessary learning experience that helps an individual evolve emotionally and spiritually.

Simply put, resolving your outstanding issues is paramount in allowing you to improve the quality of your life. You can easily recognize the issues you are currently working through by examining the apparent problems or patterns of turmoil in your life. There are some issues that remain so painful for us that we carry them from lifetime to lifetime, attempting repeatedly to resolve them. Other issues can be easily worked through without much anxiety or suffering…

If your childhood was traumatic, remember you purposely planned that situation as part of your destiny in order to evolve to a higher level of enlightenment. It might be said that those people who exposed you to their toxic dysfunction when you were a child have been your very best teachers.

create world Blog

You deliberately picked those troubled people because you expected them to behave just as they did at their existing levels of enlightenment. Keep in mind that although you most likely suffered many wounds, it was a very strong and courageous decision on your part to plan something so distressing, especially knowing that in your most formative years you would be utterly dependent on those from whom you would experience the greatest adversity. Think for a moment about all of the spiritual wisdom and maturity you gained from those impossible relationships and how you learned what not to do from them. And if you’ve already learned everything you had intended, you’ll blessedly never be exposed to those issues again!

After I had been dating my husband, Britt, for several months, we started to talk about our respective histories, which included some painful memories of past relationships and the fact that both of us came from troubled families. I described how my alcoholic father had brutalized my mother verbally and physically throughout my childhood. Britt’s eyes filled with tears as he warmly embraced me, and then he murmured, “What a wonderful teacher he must have been. I can see why you chose him as a father. You were very fortunate.”

Very fortunate? I thought Britt was nuts! I was aghast that he said such a thing about a man who had traumatized my entire family. What could I possibly have learned from a man I could never respect or depend on as a father? I was fortunate to have a father who rejected and abandoned my brothers and me from the time I could remember because he was so consumed with destroying my mother and himself? Having endured emotionally painful therapy for some time to heal from these childhood wounds, I should be grateful to this man?

Britt saw my shocked expression, and before I could stutter a reply, he explained softly, “Don’t you understand? You chose him as a father because you knew he would behave exactly as he did. You must have had some issues that you needed to address, and your father fit the bill perfectly. You’re the person you are today partially because of that turmoil.”

His statement rang true to me, and I began to listen more openly. I started to see things in a very different light. We discussed the idea that because of the absence of my father’s love, I had no feelings of security or consistency as a child. And due to my father’s drinking and abusive behavior, I grew up in a war-zone environment that was characterized by ongoing financial hardships, fear of the sporadic beatings he gave my mother, and the awareness that at any time he might decide to make good on one of his frequent threats to kill her.

Britt helped me recognize that I didn’t have to respect, admire, or even like someone who had a purpose in my life as a teacher. Spiritually speaking, it was my father’s responsibility to me to act the way he did, and then it was my responsibility to myself to transcend the adversity and learn from it. So what was I able to learn from my father?

The early heartache of his neglect, rejection, and disinterest in me began the process of independence and empowerment that I am so proud of today. His abusive behavior toward my mother taught me about setting boundaries and helped me to understand the emotionally crippling effects of low self-esteem. In addition, as a result of moving beyond this difficult time, I was able to develop the determination to address my subsequent issues with less fear and unwillingness.

Prayer Blog 08 2014

Upon further reflection, I realized that I also learned what not to do. In my interactions with other people, particularly children, I always try to remember that every human being should be treated with dignity, respect, and consideration. Although my old wounds are healed and I’ve never been happier or more at peace, I can still vividly recall the terror of cowering from a parent gone berserk because of a combination of anger and alcohol. The memory of those early years helps me to share a heartfelt sympathy and compassion for those who have endured similar experiences.

Even in therapy, I hadn’t considered that my suffering could have been a precious opportunity to learn from my father, who was destined to be one of my most valuable teachers. Britt taught me, with his greater maturity and wisdom, that traumatic or disturbing issues can always be reframed as positive learning experiences as long as I am ready to become a willing student.

Our Research into Cayce’s “Hall of Records”

(Ancient Mysteries, Edgar Cayce Readings) Permanent link

Our Research into Cayce's
"Hall of Records"
By John Bunker and Karen Pressler

The story of the “Hall of Records” begins with Atlantis. Near the end of the days of the Atlanteans, the readings explain: “… there came the first egress of peoples to the Pyrenees and into what later became the Egyptian dynasties.” Images from these areas seem to represent the disaster:

“The first of the eruptions that awoke from the depth of the slow cooling earth, and that portion now near what would be termed the Sargasso Sea first went into the depths. With this there again came that egress of peoples that aided, or attempted to assume control, yet carrying with them all those forms of Amilius that he gained through that as for signs, for seasons, for days, for years. Hence we find in those various portions of the world even in the present day, some form of that as was presented by those peoples in that great development in this, the eden of the world [this reading is referring to astronomy and thereby associated with the development of the calendar]…that as for signs, for seasons, for days, for years.” (Edgar Cayce Readings 364-4)

What these people carried were records of the movement of stars and constellations. (Edgar Cayce Readings 364-4)

The readings tell us where they settled:

“In those periods when the first change had come in the position of the land, there had been an egress of peoples from the Atlantean land and they built a city near the edge of the Sahara.” (Edgar Cayce Readings 5748-6)

We also learn about the first pyramids built in Egypt. We discovered the reading of Miss [993] (in the Cayce readings, individual’s names are represented by numbers to protect their privacy), who had a past lifetime in Egypt during the period of the Great Pyramid’s construction and Ra-Ta was the priest (circa 10,500 BC, according to Cayce). The readings go on to describe two lifetimes before that one in the land of Og and another one in Egypt earlier when the first pyramid was built there. This proves that there were pyramids in Egypt before the Great Pyramid was built!

The readings tell us that this same country had been submerged for nearly a quarter of a million years since civilization had been in this portion of the country. (341-9)

When Ra-Ta and his people arrived in Egypt, they conducted archaeological research. (5748-6) They began to build upon those mounds that were discovered through research. With the storehouse or record house (where the records are still to be uncovered) there is a chamber or passage from the right forepaw to this entrance of the record chamber or record tomb. (5748-6)

The readings explain that “the monuments were unearthed and added to from time to time…many were buried beneath shifting sands.” (341-9)

  Khafra Pyramid 07-24-2014
Khafra Pyramid

We began to suspect that the first pyramids may have been flat on top and that they may have been added to at a later date. One pyramid in particular, Khafra, appeared to have been constructed of two sections with two distinct construction styles, still visible today. This discontinuity could indicate an interval between the construction of the lower segment and the completion of the upper segment. (Complete Pyramids, Mark Lehner)

Another of the key monuments is the Sphinx. When describing it, Cayce sometimes called it the “Mystery,” as if that was what it was called in ancient Egypt. We began our research by searching ancient Egyptian texts for that word, and we found it. There were many places in the Theban Recension of the Book of the Dead (three volumes written in hieroglyphs) which included the word “mystery”. That was the genesis of our research. After many years of study and comparison of texts and star charts, we eventually discovered there was an astronomical correlation to the Sphinx. From the Edgar Cayce readings we learned that the Sphinx monument was later set as a guard. We discovered a star constellation known in ancient Egypt as a Sphinx. This meant that the Edgar Cayce readings may have been referencing both the Sphnix monument and the Sphinx star constellation. (378-16)

This in position lies, as the sun rises from the waters, the line of the shadow (or light) falls between the paws of the Sphinx, that was later set as the sentinel or guard, [This is referencing the Sphinx Monument on the ground.]

And which [the sealed room] may not be entered from the connecting chambers from the Sphinx's paw (right paw) until the TIME has been fulfilled when the changes must be active in this sphere of man's experience. [This is referencing the Sphinx Constellation that was in a certain position in the sky on a certain date at a certain time.]

The Other Sphinx

The ancient Egyptians imagined one constellation as a Sphinx. Today, we call it Centaurus since the Greeks later imagined that it was a Centaur.

There is a zodiac in the temple of Esne in Latopolis that shows this illustration of a Sphinx in place of the constellation Centaurus. This suggests that there was a Sphinx constellation before the Sphinx monument was created.

Both civilizations imagined that the constellation represented a being with the head of a man and the body of a quadruped. The constellation perfectly fits within the illustration of the Sphinx from zodiac at Esne.

From The Book of Aker (Ramses VI)

Next, we wanted to understand about the “guards” mentioned in the readings. The readings say: “Those who were left as guards may not be passed until after a period of their regeneration in the mount.” (5748-6)

This illustration shows the top of a pyramid, with the ancient Egyptian word “top” in the center at the point of the pyramid. It also shows an oval that was the ancient Egyptian word for “horizon.” This may hold the key.

The two Sphinx gods at opposite sides of the horizon are the constellations of Centaurus on the left (East) and Leo on the right (West). The flying serpent in the center of the horizon is Hydra, the largest constellation in the sky. The head at the tail of the serpent represents the planet Venus.

The readings explain that Giza was formed according to that which had been worked out by Ra-Ta in the mount as related to the position of the various stars … [and] the constellation Libra. (294-151)

This is the exact configuration of stars, planets, and constellations over Cairo, Egypt. In order for it to fit, you have to go back to the time of Ra-Ta, 10,390 BC. At the tail of the flying serpent is the planet Venus positioned within the constellation Libra.

 SkyGlobe 10,390 BC

Edgar Cayce provided many clues to the location of the Hall of Records:

“The one in the Atlantean land, that sank, which will rise and is rising again; another in the place of the records that leadeth from the Sphinx to the hall of records, in the Egyptian land; and another in the Aryan or Yucatan land, where the temple there is overshadowing same.” (2012-1)

“For the entity's tomb then was a part of the Hall of Records, which has not yet been uncovered. It lies between—or along that entrance from the Sphinx to the temple—or the pyramid; in a pyramid, of course, of its own.” (2329-3)

“Hence we find the entity…was the first to set the records that are yet to be discovered…and for the preservation of the data, that as yet to be found from the chambers of the way between the sphinx and the pyramid of records.” (1486-1)

Cayce tells us that the second pharaoh, Araaraart “will be found…in the North Corner of the second Pyramid…” (341-1)

In a subsequent reading, he said the same entity, Araaraart, will be found “in the upper chamber of the northeast corner of the first pyramid builded.” (341-8).

In another reading, he said, “In the first of the pyramids built in the Valley of the Shadow, there still may be found unto this day portions of data as was preserved with the ruler, who afterward was worshiped as the representative of God made manifest in earth. These will be found in the northwest corner or chamber of this mound.” (5748-4)

It is our conclusion that the first and second pyramid refer to the same pyramid and that it is the pyramid of Khafra. Today it is known as the second pyramid, but we believe that in reality it was the first. We base this belief upon evidence from Edgar Cayce’s reading (993-1,#23) which explains that the first of the pyramids was constructed in Egypt long before the lifetime of Ra Ta and long before the construction of the Great Pyramid. This pyramid was underwater for nearly a quarter of a million years before Ra-Ta entered Egypt (341-9,#4).

We look forward to the time when the Hall of Records may be opened:

“Yet, as time draws nigh when changes are to come about, there may be the opening of the three places where the records are one, to those that are initiates in the knowledge of the One God.

“The temple of Iltar will then rise again. Also there will be the opening of the hall of records in Egypt.

“The RECORDS are ONE.” (5750-1)

The Supernatural Crossroads

The Supernatural Crossroads:
The Threshold between the Seen and the Unseen
By Darrin Owens

The crossroads, a place where two roads intersect, is the subject of many religious and old-fashioned folk belief systems worldwide. In my neighborhood, most crossroads are outside the borders of a town or intertwined in deep hollows in the countryside. These locations are often considered to be supernatural. As a child, I lived near a crossroads. There were two well-worn dirt roads that crossed each other, smack-dab in the woods. I was a country kid, and we lived in the boonies. When I disappeared, my mother would always go looking for me at the crossroads. There I was, sitting right in the middle of it. Even then, I must have realized there was power there, a thinning place of the veil between worlds. I believe there is a crossroads for every realm of the supernatural.

The crossroads legend became popular with the story of the renowned, American blues singer Robert Leroy Johnson and another musical colleague, Tommy Johnson. Both say they met a mysterious helper at the crossroads… According to the legend, as a young man living on a plantation in rural Mississippi, Robert Johnson wanted to become a great blues musician. He was instructed to take his guitar to a crossroads at midnight. There he was met by a mysterious black man who took the guitar and tuned it up to perfection. The crossroads spirit played a few songs and then returned the guitar to Johnson, giving him mastery over the instrument. Robert Johnson was able to create great blues music and become famous for it. I have always loved that story. As a matter of fact, Robert Johnson’s music in the background is helping me to write this chapter; that is inspiration at its best!

With further research and study, I have learned that the idea of a crossroads as a supernatural entryway is not uncommon. The crossroads is a place that is not claimed by the living or the dead; it’s an in-between place where our physical world and the supernatural world merge. While investigating house hauntings, I have experienced several instances in which the origin of the supernatural happenings happened at the crossroads near those houses.

In this work, I’m going to describe my experiences, insight, and thoughts about the supernatural. I am on a symbolic journey and standing at the crossroads to record a very elusive reality that at one point or another will cross the threshold into our everyday existence. At that time, we will be forever changed in the way that we see life, death, and destiny. With each chapter, you will enter a different crossroads into other realms, deepening your understanding of what resides behind the inspirited curtain that separates us from the others…Whenever I pass a crossroads, I always feel comforted by the fact that no matter how concrete, plastic, or fake this world gets, there are still some actual supernatural wonders and magic somewhere in this great country of ours. No one can duplicate or fake the real supernatural. The answers are at the crossroads, and we are all headed there to see what wonders await. …

From Chapter 3, The Nature Realm

As you walk into a thicketed forest, you can smell the evergreen foliage with its sweet, woodsy fragrance. You might feel the wind blow past as it takes a journey through the trees to parts unknown. The stillness of nature calls you to travel deeper and deeper into its realm. You realize at this time that you are hypnotized by the earth’s intelligence and wisdom and that the wind is actually guiding you to the core of nature’s beating heart. That core is like a distant drum, forever vibrating the song of God’s creation. I am amazingly in love and completely devoted to the power of the Nature Realm in all her glory. I say “her” because we are going to delve into the kingdom of Gaia, which is Mother Earth. …

… If you work with nature, nature will work with you. I’m often asked if humans can travel to the Nature Realm. As you have read, there are times when the veil thins, and we can take a peek into the faery world, but those are rare occurrences. If you are not fully in accord with the laws and support of Gaia, Mother Earth will not let you anywhere near her realm or her children. Our fur people, the animals and our pets, also have devas to guard them. Dogs, cats, and even creepy crawly creatures all are governed by their own specific devas. It’s truly amazing how congruent and well-ordered the supernatural realms are. All of God’s creations and mysteries are enveloped in his grace.

Dedication Ceremony for the Library,
Offices, and Vault
September 29, 1940

On November 15, 1938, Edgar Cayce sent a letter to all of the members of the Association for Research and Enlightenment. Here is a copy of that letter from 1469-1 Reports.

On the evening of November 4th I had this dream, vision or experience: I was in our office “reading room” discussing with some of the family the necessity for protecting and preserving the records we already have, and the means for doing this. Suddenly a master (the Master, to me) appeared and said:

Peace be unto you! Ask all whom you have tried to help to help you save these records, for they are their experiences and are a part of them! Whether they contribute a shingle, a beam, a window, a door, or the entire vault for the records, give them all the opportunity to have a part in the work.”

A place for preserving these records is becoming more and more necessary. We have…copies of individual readings, which we believe will, if preserved, be of inestimable value to the world through scientific research in the years to come. Investigators have told us that we have the largest collection in existence of the records of an individual psychic.

Such a place may be prepared at a cost of eighteen hundred dollars or more ($1,800), provided it is built adjoining my home here in Virginia Beach.

Do you want to have any part in this?

Yours in service,

It was this letter that Edgar Cayce mentioned in his Closing Remarks for the Dedication Ceremony of the Library, Offices, and Vault on September 29, 1940:

There is only one thing I want to say. That is, “Thank you.” As you know, two years ago I had a dream which gave me the first concrete idea as to a manner in which this building might come into actual existence. As I thought of it, it seemed far away. The Readings have indicated for years that when a sufficient number of individuals had been convinced personally as to the value of the information, they would help pass it on to others. When I had this dream, I sent a copy to every member of the Association. Today we are able to see the result of this letter. The money, time and energy which have made this possible have come from those whom I have tried to help.

One of the carpenters, working on the building, said to me the other day, “Well, Mr. Cayce, I’ve heard about you... I’ve heard a lot of people say a lot of things about you, but I don't think I’ve ever met a man just like you. I don’t know what it is, that is different, but there’s something!” He possibly has never seen even a copy of a Reading; he doesn't know what it is all about. Yet, when we started putting in our library, the first set of books was given by this man. It is helpful to know that our efforts stimulate such attitudes in individuals.

We are dedicating this building for a service to humanity. “Inasmuch as ye do it unto the least of these, my brethren, ye do it unto me.” The service to our fellow man is the greatest service we can do for our Maker. For, it is seeing in our fellow man something we could worship in our Maker that leads us on, to hope for, to be the very best possible channel for good. The work of studying our records and preparing them for distribution is just beginning. We need your cooperation and the assistance of every member of the Association. We are ready to go forward.

Thank you! Thank you for helping me to make this possible.

Let us close with a word of prayer:
Gracious God, we thank Thee for Thy blessing to us. We thank Thee for the gift of Thy love, and the manifestations of Thyself in the earth through Thy Son, Jesus Christ. As we have come here this afternoon to dedicate this building for the purpose that we may better serve our fellow men, may we each dedicate...rededicate...our lives to Thee. For it is in Thee that we live and move and have our being. Be Thou, O God, the guide. Direct us in the things we do and say, and help us to choose Thy ways. Now, may the blessings of the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit be on each and every one, as we ask it in Jesus' name. Amen.
